§ 13:1E-171 — Sanitary Landfill Closure and Rate Relief Fund

New Jersey·Title 13 CONSERVATION AND DEVELOPMENT--PARKS AND RESERVATIONS
a.The "Sanitary Landfill Closure and Rate Relief Fund" (hereinafter referred to as the "fund") is established as a special account in the Department of Environmental Protection. The fund shall be administered by the department, and shall be the depository of all monies appropriated to the fund by the Legislature pursuant to section 9 of this act or any subsequent act for the purpose of making State grants or loans to local government units to defray costs of increases in landfill disposal tipping fees specifically required for closure and to finance the closure of sanitary landfill facilities. Monies in the fund are specifically dedicated to making grants or loans to local government units for eligible closure projects as provided in section 5 of this act, and shall not be expended except
