Text

The term "recreation" as used in this act means any activity, voluntarily engaged in, which contributes to the physical, mental or moral development of the individual or group participating therein, and includes any activity in the fields of music, drama, art, handicraft, science, nature study, aquatic sports and athletics and any informal activity incorporating any of them. L.1950, c. 338, p. 1119, s. 2, eff. July 24, 1950.
