The department, the Board of Public Utilities, the Division of Local Government Services, and the Division of Rate Counsel shall have 15 days from the date of receipt of a proposed contract submitted by a contracting unit for review and approval pursuant to the provisions of this amendatory and supplementary act to request the contracting unit to supply additional information or documentation concerning the proposed contract. The contracting unit shall provide written responses to these requests within 10 days of receipt of the request. Any supplemental requests for information shall be made within five days of receipt of the written responses to the initial requests.
