In order to facilitate the development of port facilities in the areas of this State bordering on the tidal reaches of the Delaware river and bay the South Jersey Port Corporation is hereby authorized and empowered to establish, acquire, construct, rehabilitate, improve, own, operate and maintain marine terminals at such locations within the South Jersey Port District as it shall determine. L.1968, c. 60, s. 8, eff. June 13, 1968.
