Text
The department shall have the power to issue permits and to make orders under this chapter, conduct hearings, subpoena and examine under oath owners of dams, their books, records, documents, correspondence, and accounts, and to subpoena any other person it deems necessary to implement the purposes and intent of this chapter. The commissioner shall adopt under RSA 541-A and enforce such reasonable rules as are deemed necessary to implement the provisions of this chapter.
