Text
Municipal electric utilities established after July 1, 1997, shall unbundle their rates and allow for open access to competitive retail electric supply markets as soon as retail electric competition is certified to exist anywhere in the state pursuant to RSA 38:36. Municipal electric utilities established prior to July 1, 1997, may voluntarily unbundle their rates and allow open access to competitive retail electric supply markets.
