I.The board shall adopt rules under RSA 319-C:6-a requiring any entity engaging a person who conducts residential electrical inspections for up to 4 contiguous units, which shall be considered a level 1 inspector, or a person who conducts all types of electrical inspections, which shall be considered a level 2 inspector, who is conducting third-party electrical inspections of electrical installations in this state to have the person conducting the inspection be approved by the office of professional licensure and certification in accordance with criteria established by the board. The board shall determine the qualifications necessary for approval as a level 1 or level 2 electrical inspector.
