Text

Powers granted to a town by paragraph XXXV of RSA 31:4 may be exercised jointly with other towns similarly affected, and any 2 or more such towns may enter into agreements with one another for joint or cooperative action pursuant to the following provisions: I. Such agreement shall be approved by a vote of the majority of those present and voting at any regular or special meeting of the town. II. Any such agreement shall specify the following:

(a)Its duration;
(b)The precise organization, composition, and nature of any joint or cooperative agency, or of any separate legal or administrative entity, if one is created thereby, together with the powers delegated thereto;
(c)Its purposes;
(d)The manner of financing the joint or cooperative undertaking and of establishing and maintaining a b
