Text

No motor truck, trailer, or semi-trailer, while being used to transport pulpwood, boltwood or any wood product, other than long logs or sawed long lumber, shall be driven on the ways of this state unless the last tier or row or both are bound by a chain, wire rope, steel cable, steel strap or nylon webbing device together with a binder to adequately secure the load. Chains shall be made of not less than 3/8 inch wire; wire ropes, steel cables, steel straps or nylon webbing devices shall have a capacity of at least 2,750 pounds working load limit as rated by the manufacturer. No wood product other than logs or sawed long lumber shall be piled higher than the truck stakes unless bound by a chain, wire rope, steel cable, steel strap or nylon webbing device together with a binder to adequately
