Text

Notwithstanding the provisions of RSA 266:44, the tail lamps on antique motor vehicles, farm tractors, retired fire apparatuses, or motorcycles as defined in RSA 259:4 shall be deemed adequate if they display a red light visible for a distance of 100 feet to the rear of such vehicle, and the tail lamp or lamps on such vehicles may be located at a height of more than 72 inches from the ground, provided they were so located at the time of original manufacture of the vehicle.
