§ 21-P:35 — Definitions
New Hampshire·Title I THE STATE AND ITS GOVERNMENT·Ch. 21-P DEPARTMENT OF SAFETY·Subdivision Homeland Security and Emergency Management
In this subdivision:
I."Commissioner" means the commissioner of safety.
II.[Repealed.]
III."Council" means the advisory council on emergency preparedness and security.
IV."Director" means the director of the division of homeland security and emergency management.
V."Emergency management" means the preparation for and the carrying out of all emergency functions, including but not limited to emergency response, training functions, or the utilization of first responders, in order to prepare for, prevent, minimize, and repair injury or damage resulting from the occurrence or threat of widespread or severe damage, injury, or loss of life or property resulting from any natural or human cause, including but not limited to fire, flood, earthquake, windstorm, wave actions, technological incide
