Text
There is created within the department of safety, division of fire safety, the classified position of hazardous materials incident response coordinator. The coordinator shall oversee the preparedness of the state's regional hazardous materials response teams as provided in RSA 21-P:12, III. During full-time service as hazardous materials incident response coordinator, the hazardous materials incident response coordinator shall be eligible to be a group II member, if he or she was a group II member or receiving a group II retirement allowance prior to being hired into this position.
