Text

I. The commissioner is responsible for the statewide supervision of emergency medical services. II. The commissioner shall:

(a)Adopt rules, under RSA 541-A, with the advice and assistance of the coordinating board, the emergency medical services medical control board, and the trauma medical review committee, in accordance with RSA 153-A:20.
(b)Oversee the administration of the division by the director.
(c)Appoint, following consultation with the emergency medical services medical control board, the state medical director for emergency medical services, who shall be academically and technically qualified to hold the position. III. The commissioner may establish standing or ad hoc committees on a regional or statewide basis as deemed necessary.
