Text
Upon petition for support in the name of the state, the superior court may enter an order requiring any patient or resident or persons legally chargeable for the support of a patient or resident to contribute to the support of such patient or resident. Anyone against whom an order is entered requiring a person to contribute to the support of such relative who fails to comply therewith shall be deemed to be in contempt of court and may be imprisoned not less than 60 nor more than 90 days.
