Effective July 1, 1989, the New Hampshire policemen's retirement system, as provided by RSA 103, shall be merged into and become a part of the New Hampshire retirement system. All retired members and beneficiaries who are receiving or are eligible to receive benefits under RSA 103 shall receive the same benefits from the New Hampshire retirement system, but in accordance with the payment provisions and restrictions of the New Hampshire policemen's retirement system. All assets and liabilities under the New Hampshire policemen's retirement system are hereby transferred to the New Hampshire retirement system.
