Text
(1)Until July 1, 2026, the board shall appoint an advisory council of six representatives of private postsecondary career schools. Members of the council shall include representatives from a business school, a trade or technical school, a better business bureau, and three other distinct areas of education. Members of the council shall serve staggered terms of three years each as established by the board at the time of initial appointment. If a vacancy occurs on the council, the board shall appoint a successor in the same category as the predecessor. The advisory council shall have the following responsibilities:
(a)To advise the department in its administration of the Private Postsecondary Career School Act; and
(b)To review the rules and regulations adopted or proposed for adoption by
