Text

It is the intent of the Legislature that the Junior Mathematics Prognosis Examination be available to every student in the eleventh grade in Nebraska in order to measure his or her level of preparation for college-level mathematics. The immediate goal of the examination is to decrease the number of Nebraska first-year college students who begin college mathematics at a remedial level. The long-term goal is to help develop a more mathematically and scientifically literate society.
