§ 73-401 — Contract with state agency; Public Counsel; jurisdiction

Except for long-term care facilities subject to the jurisdiction of the state long-term care ombudsman pursuant to the Long-Term Care Ombudsman Act, the contracting agency shall ensure that any contract which a state agency enters into or renews which agrees that a corporation, partnership, business, firm, governmental entity, or person shall provide health and human services to individuals or service delivery, service coordination, or case management on behalf of the State of Nebraska shall contain a clause requiring the corporation, partnership, business, firm, governmental entity, or person to submit to the jurisdiction of the Public Counsel pursuant to the Office of Public Counsel Act with respect to the provision of services under the contract.
