(1)A regional metropolitan transit authority may purchase equipment, may execute agreements, leases, conditional sales contracts, conditional lease contracts, and equipment trust notes or certificates in the form customarily used in such cases appropriate to effect such purchase, and may dispose of such equipment trust notes or certificates. All money required to be paid by the authority under such agreements, leases, and equipment trust notes or certificates shall be payable solely from the revenue or income to be derived from the public transit system and related facilities of the authority, including, without limitation, the revenue derived from rates, fares, and charges fixed under subdivision (19) of section 18-812 , from property taxes levied pursuant to section 18-822 , from any
