Text
Roads.
In connection with the construction and development of the Garrison diversion unit of the
Missouri River basin project, the highway authorities of the state, or any county or organized
township or municipality, are authorized to enter into agreements with each other or with the
federal government, respecting the financing, planning, establishment, relocation, improvement,
maintenance, use, regulation, vacation, or abandonment of public ways in their respective
jurisdictions. Where any such contracts require the relocation, vacation, or abandonment of
particular public ways, the contracting state agency, county, organized township, or municipality
shall be vested with and authorized to exercise the powers of the state in the relocation,
vacation, or abandonment of existing public way
