Text
A water permit may be recorded as any other instrument affecting the title to real property
without acknowledgment or further proof. The order canceling a water right or portion of a water
right must be filed by the department of water resources with the county recorder where the
affected land is located and recorded as any other instrument affecting the title to real property
without acknowledgment or further proof. Any document filed under this section must be listed in
the index of the property affected as provided in section 11-18-07.
