Text
1.The water well contractors advisory board is established and consists of:
a.The director, or director's designee.
b.Three water well contractors, appointed by the governor.
c.One geothermal system driller or one monitoring well contractor, appointed by the
governor.
d.One water well pump and pitless unit installer, appointed by the governor.
e.One member at large, appointed by the governor.
2.The advisory board:
a.Shall advise the department in the adoption and implementation of rules for the
certification and regulation of water well contractors, water well pump and pitless
unit installers, monitoring well contractors, and geothermal system drillers.
b.May receive reports from the department on the status and activities of the
certification and regulation of water well contract
