Upon the adjudication of the rights to the use of the waters of a stream system, a certified
copy of the decree must be prepared by the clerk of the court at the cost of the parties, and
must be filed in the department. The decree must declare the water right adjudged to each
party, the priority, amount, purpose, and place of use, and, as to water used for irrigation, the
specific tracts of land to which the right is appurtenant, with any other conditions necessary to
define the right and the priority of the right.
