Text
Upon going out of office, each supervisor, township clerk, or assessor shall deliver, upon
demand of the person's successor and upon oath administered by the latter, all records, books,
and papers in the person's possession or under the person's control belonging to the office. The
successor shall make such demand immediately upon assuming the office.
