If the petition described in section 58-02-25 has been signed by the requisite number of
qualified signers, the question of dissolution must be submitted to the voters of the township at
the annual township meeting. A notice specifying the question of dissolution to be submitted at
the annual meeting must be signed by the township clerk and posted in five of the most public
places in the township at least five days prior to the annual meeting and published once before
the time appointed for the meeting in a legal newspaper published in the county in which the
township is located.
