Text

Continuing appropriation. The Bank of North Dakota shall extend to the board a line of credit not to exceed fifty million dollars. The board shall repay the line of credit from health insurance premium revenue or repay the line of credit from other funds appropriated by the legislative assembly. The board may access the line of credit to the extent necessary to provide adequate claims payment funds, to purchase stop-loss coverage, and to defray other expenditures of administration of the self- insurance health plan. All loan funds received by the board from the Bank under this section, not otherwise appropriated, are appropriated to the board for the repayment of claims and other costs of the uniform group insurance program.
