Text
For the purpose of establishing the funding agent or agents, the board may enter into an
insurance contract, agreement, or purchase an insurance policy or policies covering all or any
part of the retirement plan adopted, provided the assuring company is a North Dakota
corporation or authorized to do business in the state of North Dakota, or may enter into a
contract with any qualified trust company or companies, or combinations of insurance contracts
and trust contracts.
