Text
1.Before January 1, 2025, eligible elected officials of participating counties, at their
individual option, may enroll in the defined benefit plan within the first six months of
their term.
2.After December 31, 2024, eligible elected officials of participating counties, at their
individual option, may enroll in the defined contribution retirement plan under chapter
54-52.6 within the first six months of their term.
