Text
As used in this chapter:
1."Authority" means the industrial commission acting as the North Dakota pipeline
authority.
2."Commission" means the North Dakota industrial commission.
3."Energy-related commodities" means any substance, element, or compound, either
gaseous, liquid, or solid, associated with the production, refining, or processing of
renewable energy, crude oil, natural gas, coal, or coal byproducts, including oil, natural
gas liquids, refined petroleum products, carbon dioxide, hydrogen, ethanol, propane,
butane, ethane, methane, sulfur, helium, synthetic fuels, nitrogen, biodiesel, green
diesel, and liquids made from coal.
4."Natural gas" means hydrocarbons or nonhydrocarbons that at atmospheric conditions
of temperature and pressure are in a gaseous phase.
