Text
Notwithstanding any other provision of law, the governor or an executive branch officer or
employee may not alter the language of the pledge of allegiance. The voluntary pledge is "I
pledge allegiance to the flag, of the United States of America, and to the republic for which it
stands, one nation under God, indivisible, with liberty and justice for all."
