Text
In order to prevent unnecessary expense and duplication of functions, and to promote
uniform and effective administration of relocation assistance programs for displaced persons,
the state agency may enter into contracts with any individual, firm, association, corporation, or
limited liability company for services in connection with those programs, or may carry out its
functions under this chapter through any federal agency or any department or instrumentality of
the state or its political subdivisions having an established organization for conducting relocation
assistance programs. The state agency shall, in carrying out relocation activities described in
section 54-01.1-08, whenever practicable, utilize the services of state or local housing agencies,
or other agencies having experience
