Text
The child fatality review panel is a multidisciplinary panel and incorporates representatives
of agencies that are directly or indirectly involved in responding to the death of a child. The
department may designate any other person as appropriate to assist the panel in the
performance of the panel's duties. The department shall adopt rules for the operation of the
panel. Panel members are not entitled to compensation or reimbursement of expenses for
service on the panel. The representative of the department shall serve as presiding officer and
is responsible for gathering records and preparing reports to review. The presiding officer shall
set meetings for the purpose of fulfilling the duties set forth in sections 50-25.1-04.3 and
