Text
The department shall seek the necessary approval from the centers for Medicare and
Medicaid services to expand medical assistance coverage for pregnant women with income
below one hundred seventy-five percent of the federal poverty level. Services under this section
must be for the duration of the pregnancy and the postpartum period consisting of the
twelve-month period beginning on the last day of the pregnancy.
