Text
Except as otherwise provided in this section, an application to the department for a license,
certification, or approval required by this chapter to provide foster care to adults or children must
be approved or denied within sixty days of its receipt by the department. The department has an
additional forty-five days to grant or deny a license, certification, or approval required by this
chapter if the department notifies the applicant that the additional time is necessary.
