Text
Before initial licensure, or certification and each renewal under this chapter, each family
foster home for children shall complete a course of instruction related to fire prevention and
safety. The state fire marshal shall design the course in cooperation with the department of
health and human services. The course must be available to the public as designed by the
department. The department of health and human services shall offer the course throughout the
state.
