Text
The department may adopt rules necessary to carry out the responsibilities of the
department in conformity with any statute administered or enforced by the department. All rules
adopted must be published in the North Dakota Administrative Code. Rules adopted by
agencies prior to January 1, 1982, which relate to functions or agencies covered by this chapter
remain in effect until such time as they are specifically amended or repealed. The department is
not required to adopt rules to establish the process for the administration of funds appropriated
to the department in an appropriation identified by the legislative assembly as a one-time
funding item.
