§ 47-18-10 — Duties of appraisers
The appraisers must perform the following duties:
1.Take an oath impartially to appraise the homestead property.
2.View the premises and appraise the value thereof.
3.If the appraised value exceeds the homestead exemption, determine whether the real
property claimed can be divided without material injury.
