Text
The recorder of the county in which the land platted or subdivided is located shall accept
each certificate for filing and recording upon payment of a fee commensurate with the length of
the certificate. Neither witnesses nor an acknowledgment is required on any such certificate, but
it must be signed by the registered land surveyor and must include a statement that the signing
surveyor holds valid registration in this state. The recorder shall make suitable notations on the
record of the plat or subdivision to which the certificate refers to direct the attention of anyone
examining the plat or subdivision to the record of that certificate. No such certificate has the
