Text
The approval and adoption of a map as provided in section 40-48-28 shall not be deemed
the opening or establishment of any street or the taking of any land for street purposes or for
public use or as a public improvement, but shall operate solely as a reservation of the street
location shown on the map for the period specified in the resolution for future taking or
acquisition for public use.
