Any municipality, in connection with the issuance of refunding bonds, may appoint a fiscal
agent, provide for the fiscal agent's powers, duties, functions, and compensation, limit the fiscal
agent's liabilities, prescribe a method for the fiscal agent's resignation, removal, merger, or
consolidation, and provide for the appointment of a successor and the transfer of rights and
properties to such successor fiscal agent.
