The question provided for in section 40-35-06 shall be submitted to the electors on a ballot
separate from all other ballots and in substantially the following form:
Shall the ______________ (name of municipality) issue revenue bonds in the amount
of not to exceed $__________ (maximum amount of bonds) for the purpose of
________________ (purpose of issue)?
Yes ☐
No ☐
Such question may be submitted to the qualified electors at any general or municipal election or
at any special election called, held, and conducted upon the notice and in the manner specified
by law for the election of the governing body of the municipality.
