§ 40-33-25 — Surplus funds of jointly operated utility
Any surplus funds of any jointly operated utility, as provided for in section 40-33-22, shall be
distributed to the participating municipalities ratably in proportion to their interest or ownership
therein. Such surplus funds received by any municipality shall be disposed of by the governing
body of the municipality in accordance with the provisions of section 40-33-12.
