Text
A notice of intention to file a hospital lien must be served upon the person, corporation, or
limited liability company claimed to be liable for the damages arising from the injury, by
registered or certified mail or by personal service in the manner provided for the service of a
summons in a civil action. Proof of such service must be filed with the lien statement.
