Text
If it appears that any person not a party to the action has or claims an interest in any of the
garnished property antedating the garnishment, the court may permit that person to appear and
maintain that person's rights. If the person does not appear, the court may direct that the person
be notified to appear or be barred of the claim. The notice may be served in a manner as the
court directs, and the person appearing or notified shall be joined as a party and is bound by
judgment against the garnishee.
