§ 31-03-15 — Civil penalty for failure to obey subpoena when called for defendant in criminal action

North Dakota·Title 31 Judicial Proof·Ch. 31-03 Means of Compelling Attendance of Witnesses
criminal action. A witness disobeying a subpoena issued on the part of the defendant in a criminal action, unless the witness shows good cause for the witness's nonattendance, is liable to the defendant in the sum of fifty dollars, which may be recovered in a civil action.
