§ 29-05-15 — Misdemeanor within magistrate's jurisdiction - Procedure
If the offense charged in a warrant of arrest is within the jurisdiction of the magistrate to try
and punish upon conviction, the accused, if arrested in another county, must be taken before
the magistrate who issued the warrant, or, if that magistrate is absent, then before some other
magistrate, as is provided in section 29-05-14.
