Text
Conviction of an offense does not disqualify a person from a certificate of admission and
licensure under this chapter unless the state board of law examiners and the supreme court
determine that the offense has a direct bearing upon a person's ability to serve the public as an
attorney and counselor at law, or that the person, following conviction of any offense, is not
sufficiently rehabilitated under section 12.1-33-02.1.
