disability.
If a judge of the supreme court or a judge of the district court retires under the provisions of
section 27-05-03.1, the judge shall receive the compensation allotted to the judge's office for the
remainder of the judge's term and thereafter judicial retirement salary as provided for in
subsection 3 of section 27-17-01, regardless of the judge's age or years of service at that time.
The provisions of this section are applicable to those judges who retire pursuant to section
27-05-03.1 after January 1, 1973.
