provisions.
A group health insurance policy or a group health service contract may contain coordination
of benefit provisions for the control of overinsurance. An individual health insurance policy or
individual health service contract, except a specific disease, hospital indemnity, or other limited
benefit plan, may contain coordination of benefit provisions for the control of overinsurance.
These provisions must be in accordance with appropriate guidelines set forth in rules adopted
by the commissioner.
