§ 26.1-33-10 — Agreement depriving insured in life policy of right to apportionment of surplus and automatic insurance void
surplus and automatic insurance void.
No agreement between a life insurance company and a holder of a participating policy or an
applicant for insurance under a participating policy relating to the apportionment annually of the
surplus of the company, the rights of the policyholder in the surplus, automatic insurance, or to
the limitation on contingency reserves waives any of the provisions of this chapter relating
thereto.
